Big Daddy Boss Bets (Pty) Ltd (hereafter referred to as “Boss Bets”) is a betting operator licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (hereafter referred to as “WCGRB“).
All bets and transactions are subject to the terms and conditions on this site as well as the applicable South African gambling legislation. It is your responsibility that you are fully acquainted and familiar with them as well as the relevant national and provincial legislation.
Any relaxation or concession or extension granted by Boss Bets to the customer shall not be a novation or waiver of rights of Boss Bets as set forth in these terms and conditions.
The Terms and Conditions may be changed from time to time by Boss Bets and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that you are acquainted and familiar with such changes
Use of Site
Customers may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate transactions and bets and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent transaction. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. ‘Deep-linking’, ‘embedding’ or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.
Opening of account procedures
The minimum age to open an account or place a bet with Boss Bets is 18 years. The placing of bets by persons under the age of 18 is an illegal transaction which is void in law.
Accounts will be applied for and opened via the mobile application mobi.bigdaddybossbets.co.za. All account applications are processed at the sole discretion of Boss Bets.
Boss Bets reserves the right to accept or decline an application for a new account, decline an application for a new account for any reason whatsoever, or to stop accepting bets, close or suspend a players account of a customer, for any reason whatsoever.
Once the application is received by Boss Bets, a notification of account application will be sent to the client and a request for statutory Financial Intelligence Centre Act related documentation.
Only a natural person may apply for an account and only one account may be held by a customer.
A customer may not apply for an account in the name of or on behalf of another person.
No person who is listed on the register of excluded persons referred to in section 14 of the National Gambling Act, 2004 may open an account.
The customer warrants that all information provided in the account application form completed by him/her and shall remain true and correct.
Any person who completes the account application form warrants thereby that he/she has read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and all rules relating to betting.
Any information used from third parties for a customer will be required to be confirmed by the customer.
No accounts may be opened with non-South African residential addresses, contact details or bank accounts and no withdrawal requests will be processed to non-South African bank accounts. In the event of a withdrawal request to a non-South African bank all payments funding the account will be reversed and bets cancelled.
Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) Requirements and compliance with Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)
In terms of FICA requirements, Boss Bets must identify and validate all customers who open an account or place bets or request pay outs above a particular value.

We reserve the right to utilise third party verification to verify your identity and/or residence.
Customers consent to Boss Bets providing any third party with their details
Where a document is transmitted to Boss Bets via electronic mail, Boss Bets will electronically and/or physically file and retain for record purposes.
Only once the related FICA related documentation is received and at the sole discretion of Boss Bets, the account will be officially opened and activated.
Furthermore, Boss Bets may be required to report certain transactions to the FIC if required in terms of the FICA Act. Any non-compliance with FICA requirements could result in Boss Bets refusing to accept or pay out on a bet.

Identity Documents must be clear i.e. the information and photo must be visible.
Proof of address requirements:
- Initials on the proof of address must correspond with the ID book.
- A client proof of address must contain residential address only (Postal address not acceptable).
- Proof of address must have a date (If it does not contain a date it will not be accepted).
- If a client stays with their parent/renting, the parent must fill in a confirmation form stating that they reside with the client/renting. This form must be accompanied by proof of residence under the owner of the residence.

- A lease or rental agreement (Less than 1 year old)
- A municipal rate & taxes invoice (less than 3 months old)
- Mortgage statement (less than 6 months old)
- Telephone account or other fixed-line provider (less than 3 months old)
- An official tax return (less than 1 year old)
- A recent life insurance policy issued by an insurance company (Less than 1 year)
- Recent correspondence from a body corporate or share-block association (Less than 1 year)
- A valid television license documents (Less than 1 year)
- A registered residential address confirmation inserted in the customers Identity Documents
- Payslip or salary advice (Less than 3 months)
- Recent motor vehicle license or documentation(Less than 1 year)
- A letter from a Municipal authority confirming that an individual is permitted to reside on communal land (Less than 3 months)

Maximum Winning – Limits and other conditions
A bet is accepted on the understanding that it is the transaction of one customer. The following limits apply:
Open bets – the maximum amount payable in relation to a single unit, being a R1,00 unit, of any winning combination or bet type;
Fixed odds bets – the maximum amount payable in relation to an accumulation of bets per day relating to any winning combination or bet type;
Individual bets will be subject to a limit of R25 000 win per bet per client and multiple betting transactions will be limited to a maximum pay-out (liability) of R50,000.00 per bet per client. (Fifty thousand rand)
There is a daily limit on winnings of R50,000.00 per client per day.
Bonuses
Boss Bets may offer bonuses, promotional offers and rewards to its customers. These will include specific terms and conditions relating their use. Bos bets reserves the right to exclude any customer from bonuses, promotions or rewards at any time.
Acceptance of Bets
Boss Bets is not obliged to accept any bet or any type of bet from any person or entity at any time and is not required to provide a reason for not accepting a bet.
A bet shall be deemed to have been concluded by Boss Bets when Boss Bets has indicated to the Customer that the bet has been accepted.
Bets or transactions must be made online with the Boss Bets website. No other medium will be accepted and should any bets be received via such mediums, they will be classed as “void” immaterial to whether they are of a winning or losing nature.
Any bet alleged to have been placed in respect of which details are not recorded on Boss Bets terminals or wagering software or alternatively confirmed by voice recordings, will not be recognised by Boss Bets
The time of the bet acceptance will be the time that the bet was recorded on Big Daddy Boss wagering software.
Upon Registration clients are provided with a username and password, which is required for system access and in order to transact. All transactions conducted on the Platform using the relevant username and password are deemed to have been transacted by the user.
Bets are only accepted as valid bets, placed according to these rules, once a transaction has been logged in the Boss Bets online server.
Where there are doubts as to the validity of a bet, the customer should view the list of “pending” bets. Once a bet has been logged, bets may not be cancelled under any circumstance. It is therefore imperative that customers understand that it is their responsibility to ensure that the details of bets are correct.
In the event of any dispute, both the customer and Boss Bets agree that the transaction log database will act as the final authority in determining the outcome of such dispute.
Boss Bets reserves the right to cancel, limit or refuse transactions for any reason and at any time whatsoever, at its sole discretion.
In order to manage our liabilities, Boss Bets reserves the right to suspend, close and notify any customer of duplicate accounts.
Boss Bets further reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet without offering any explanation, and at its sole discretion.
Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes or determines the outcome of another part of the bet. In the event that a bet is accepted in error, the stake of the bet will be divided equally on the respective markets. This practice known as “limit busting” is not allowed.
The placing of bets by any person under the age of 18 is prohibited by law and the right to void any transactions with persons under this age is retained. When opening an account and each time a customer logs on, he is required to accept the Terms and Conditions of Boss Bets.
In using this Platform and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the user further acknowledges that he may be transacting from a jurisdiction where it may be unlawful to transact. The access to and/or betting and transacting on the Boss Bets platform may not be legal for some persons in certain countries. Boss Bets does not intend that Boss Bets should be used for betting, transacting or any other purpose in countries or jurisdictions where such activities are illegal.
The web site does not constitute any offer, solicitation or invitation to any person for any service or transaction where such activities are prohibited by law. It is the responsibility of each individual to understand, enquire and determine the law that applies to the jurisdiction in which they are domiciled as well as the validity and legality of his interaction.
Whilst Boss Bets will take every possible precaution on a best effort basis to determine the legality of access by all customers, the responsibility lies solely on the user, who indemnifies Boss Bets in full in this regard. Boss Bets cannot accept any responsibility under any law in any jurisdiction other than that of South Africa and specifically the licensing jurisdiction of the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

All transactions take place in South African Rand.
The minimum stake per transaction on the Boss Bets Online Platform is R2.00 (two rand).
Settlements and payments
WINNINGS IN RESPECT OF ANY BET MUST BE CLAIMED WITHIN NINETY (90) DAYS OF THE OUTCOME OF THE BET
Bets are settled according to the odds / price displayed at the time the bet is transacted and where possible will be reflected on the transaction detail. Fixed price bets will be subject to the relevant run / deduction applicable to that particular event.
Settlement or payments will be made in the name of the account holder and not to any third party in any circumstance. Payments will be made electronically directly into the customer’s account and although Boss Bets endeavour to make real time payments, they may take up to 24 hours to reflect in the customer’s account. Payments will be activated Monday to Friday during the hours of 09h00 to 16h00.
In the event that Settlement or payment is not made, for whatever reason, within the normal and standard period of payment and settlement, or as indicated in these terms and conditions, clients have 90 days to claim their winnings from the time and date from which results are known. Such claims are to be made in writing and supported by betting referent documentation, and addressed to admin@bigdaddybossbets.co.za or to the companies registered postal address as published herein and amended from time to time.
Boss Bets reserves the right to claim back any funds that have been mistakenly credited to a client’s account.
Payments are only made to South African bank accounts.
Fraud
If Boss Bets suspects fraudulent activity in relation to any account or bet, Boss Bets reserves the right to suspend the account and the processing of any and all transactions on that account until Boss Bets is satisfied that the transactions concerned are lawful.
Bets fraudulently placed will be void.

Deposits accepted by Boss Bets are in the form of cash deposits, EFT transfers, credit card deposits and other methods as agreed to and facilitated through the Boss Bets Online platform.
Account will only be credited once funds have been cleared and proof of deposit has been received by Boss Bets. No cheques will be accepted as payment.
Deposits will not bear interest.
Security
Boss Bets will not disclose information in connection with a customer transactions with a third party unless it has permission or is required by law to do so.
If an online account with Boss Bets is opened, the username, account number and password must be kept confidential and secret by the customer.
All transactions where a username and password have been correctly entered will be deemed to have been placed and accepted by the customer.
Competition and Promotional Rules
Competition prizes awarded by Boss Bets may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash unless stated in the competitions own statement of Terms and Conditions.
Every Competition, promotional or otherwise run by Boss Bets will carry its own separate statement of Terms and Conditions.
